Sector-Ten February 2012 Newsletter /Steady Growth/Avg Logs
by krypt_razor, 111 days agoHi all,
Short but sweet Newsletter.
+Original <Sector-Ten> members were promoted to Veteran status. This means that they are extremely special. New recruits will eventually have the opportunity to reach this ultimate goal of online greatness.
+Speaking of new recruits. Special thanks to all the new people who came and brought their grandmothers/grandfathers/Siblings to play with us. It's helping logs and ensuring people that guild chat isn't just for Vor/Drae and his loud mouth.
+Orzai offered to help write up an official application for us, but has yet to come through for us. So here it is for the world to see. We need an application.
+Yvanna is helping us find more stable mumble server. Seems more people are needing voice. Stable mumble FTW. In works. No more lonely people!!
+We are now in healthy shape regarding Google searches for our guild name. We can be found by someone who really needs friends. (I'm not sure who else in this world actually looks for a guild using Google, but we are listed front page)
+I'm still leaving the guild open-ended with /ginvite command being accessible by "member" status. We need to continue to grow, this will balance the volatility of: people getting angry at Bioware and Lucas and quitting, people realizing that <ST> is going nowhere and it's time to jet. So far we have been recruiting the right people with the right attitude. 401k plan in works.
+Still trying to stick to the K.I.S.S. method of running a guild in these linear days of mmoing. Until there is territorial warfare, our goal is to keep logs up and eventually get like-minded groups together to endgame with the greatest guild tag of all time in Star Wars mmoing history.....
<Sector-Ten>
<SECTOR-TEN> <SECTOR-TEN> <SECTOR-TEN> <SECTOR-TEN> <SECTOR-TEN> <SECTOR-TEN> <SECTOR-TEN>
above tags used to aggressively tag google and overtake the business "sector ten" competing for #1 spot. :p (that method no longer works for you tagging junkies) "sector-ten guild" we have it locked. toggle /sarcasm

Sector-Ten January 2012 Newsletter /Open Guild Enrollment
by krypt_razor, 149 days agoHi all,
A few key thoughts on moving forward with <ST> guild structure.
+Guild Rank "Members" can now /ginvite. This was done to promote growth within our guild. Please no spam recruiting but feel free to grab local talent or someone who seems like a friendly mate.
+If you feel the need to be promoted for any reason please intel me or PM me here and please tell me why. Guild is getting larger and you must be patient if I forgot or overlooked you.
+We do not intend and making this guild overly complicating in structure, however with PvP and PvE endgame, we will be looking for leaders.
+If you are wondering why I am gimped in level, it's because I'm too busy doing this, and also organizing in-game. (veteran members are already aware of my play-style)
+Long-term, I'll be looking into ways to make our site more smart-phone and tablet friendly.
+And last thing, please remember to stay logged in, as I will be removing access for guests to view certain widgets here.

Early Access- Sector-Ten takes on Anchorhead Server
by krypt_razor, 156 days agoBeen a few years. Seen a lot of old names recently in application. We need to focus in on new recruits as well.
People trickling in, need to contact Alec or Breen or Total now for recruitment in-game. I'll be getting more organized and trying to help us back end and slowly seeing how we should be organized. For now, just log in and blast away.
Thanks for people stepping up to the plate and taking charge as the challenges of rl for everyone (since we are all older!) is much different now than it was SWG.

<ST> Sector-Ten was a massive Imperial-Faction guild previously played on Chilastra server, Star Wars Galaxies. A few members from the past have joined back up to once again -serve- the public. I've led some guilds in-between these lackluster mmo releases and a few heve kept in touch with me through the years. <ST> Eject (most of you old ST members probably played with him and his crew) actually contacted me to see if this would be a viable option, and here we are.
The new guild structure and mission statement have yet to be determined. For now, the most important part is getting your people to register/apply to guild and hoping SWTOR's official relrease is worth playing over the next few years.
Thank You. mumble info in member forum

P.S. Guild members who are revisiting site, please stay logged in, in order to see member-only widgets etc.
